Four Shar'i Ways to Become Wealthy

All four are amal — no cost, no risk. And behind each one there is evidence from the Qur'an or an authentic hadith.
Where the Discussion Begins
The accounts don't add up at the end of the month. Income doesn't grow, while expenses keep rising. Then people look for a way — any way.
Some enter shortcuts, some borrow, and some go to someone whose words sound pleasing but do not agree with the deen.
Here Shaykh Bali says very briefly — for the one who wants to become wealthy, there are other ways. And they are Shar'i ways.
He mentioned four, and with each one he pointed out the evidence.
The Shaykh's Answer
Four — abundant istighfar, maintaining family ties, taqwa, and sadaqah.
On istighfar, the Shaykh recited the verses of Surah Nuh — seek forgiveness, and He will send abundant rain from the sky, help you with wealth and children, and give you gardens and rivers. Do you want more wealth? Then increase your istighfar.
Go to your relatives, check on them, honor them — the Prophet ﷺ said that whoever wants his provision to be expanded and his life to be prolonged should maintain family ties. And taqwa means keeping Allah in front of you in your deeds, your words, and your dealings.
Evidence — Istighfar and Taqwa
فَقُلْتُ ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ غَفَّارًۭا
And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. (Surah Nooh 71:10 — Saheeh International)
And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allāh - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allāh will accomplish His purpose. Allāh has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. (Surah At-Talaaq 65:3 — Saheeh International)
What to Do
- Make abundant istighfar throughout the day — in the morning and evening and in the gaps between your tasks.
- Stay in touch with your relatives — visit them, check on them, honor them.
- Keep taqwa in buying, selling and work — leave doubtful dealings.
- Give sadaqah every day, however small — consistency is what matters most.
