Before going to a raqi to find out whether a tabi'a (a Shaytan that follows a person) is present, you can first do a simple test yourself — in just a few minutes, in sha Allah.
Preparation
- Sit alone in a secluded place — facing the qiblah if possible.
- Stretch out your left hand in front of you.
- Keep your eyes on your fingers.
- Listen to or recite the following recitation and dua with full attention.
Recite or Listen
"A'udhu billahi minash shaytanir rajim, min hamzihi wa nafkhihi wa nafsihi" — then the verse of Surah Al-Baqarah "Qawlum ma'rufuw wa maghfiratun khayrum min sadaqatiy yatba'uha adha" repeatedly — then the verse of Surah An-Naml "Innahu min Sulayman wa innahu bismillahir rahmanir rahim, alla ta'lu 'alayya wa'tuni muslimin" repeatedly.
The Deciding Dua
Then say: "Aqsamtu billahil 'Aliyyil 'Azim, idha kana hadhal jasadu 'alayhi tabi'atun taftahul asabi'a al-an" — By Allah, if a tabi'a is clinging to this body, let the fingers open right now.
Recite or listen to this dua several times, keeping your attention by looking at your fingers.
Checking the Result
- The fingers opening involuntarily or moving — a sign of a tabi'a, and Allah knows best
- No movement at all — Alhamdulillah, there are no signs of a tabi'a
If a tabi'a is present, it has a negative effect — it blocks recovery from the evil eye, hasad or sihr, because it prevents the inner suffering from coming out.
What to Do if a Tabi'a Is Detected
- Surah At-Tariq — remarkably effective in treating a tabi'a
- Listening to the adhan and iqamah — excellent for driving away a tabi'a
- Listening to the ruqyah specific to a tabi'a 1-2 times a day
One Step, a Big Difference
If the tabi'a is treated and expelled, you will see that the ta'attil-nahusat stops, and any ruqyah program works many, many times faster, in sha Allah.
Test yourself, and start your own treatment today.
