Beyond treating spiritual ailments, the most talked-about aspect of this great Surah is kashf: revealing what has been hidden from you, in sha Allah.

Benefits 1 – 4

  • 1. Illuminates your inner insight (basirah), making unclear matters plainly visible
  • 2. Brings hidden matters out into the open for you, in sha Allah
  • 3. In dreams and in waking life, it shows you who is plotting against you
  • 4. The enemy exposes himself without realizing it, right in front of you

Benefits 5 – 7

  • 5. The scheming wrongdoer is exposed before people in sha Allah
  • 6. It shows you before your eyes what the enemy is doing to you; the Shaykh says its kashf is rarely wrong, by the grace of Allah
  • 7. Wherever it is recited, all evil spirits, negative energy, and jinn and Shaytan flee from that place; what is inside the body is also violently shaken — even a transgressing Muslim jinn suffers severe pain and comes out, in sha Allah

How should you recite it?

  1. The best time is at night, before sleeping.
  2. Recite it an odd number of times: 3, 5 or 7 times in one sitting, every day.
  3. If you want kashf in waking life too, recite 3 times in the morning before leaving the house, plus 3 times at night.

The Shaykh says that once you begin reciting regularly, you will see amazing matters revealed in dreams and in waking life from the very first days, in sha Allah.

Who especially needs it?

  • Those who sense they are being harmed but do not know who or what the cause is
  • Those whose dreams are unclear and jumbled, and who are stuck in diagnosing their illness
  • Those who want to drive negativity and unease out of their home

Write down your dreams in a diary during ruqyah — these dreams are a major key to diagnosis.
