There was a time when whatever you took up came easily — and now there is a wall on every path? Learn the tried-and-tested amal to bring back the tawfiq that was snatched away by magic, the evil eye and hasad, in sha Allah.
Does this story sound like yours?
- You used to be fortunate — loved by people, and whatever work you set your hand to was quickly done
- Suddenly everything changed — misfortune seems to be following you, and every door is shut in your face
- Even in dreams you see yourself stuck and obstructed
- Month after month, even year after year — the same condition
The Shaykh says — behind much of such severe ta'attil and misfortune there can be a spiritual cause: magic made out of envy, or a strong evil eye and hasad — all by Allah's command — and Allah knows best.
The amal — in one glass of water
- Take one glass of water — in the morning, or if you cannot, in the evening.
- Make the intention: "To remove ta'attil and misfortune and regain the tawfiq that was taken away — by Allah's command"; there is no harm in saying it aloud as well.
- Blow lightly into the water.
- Recite verse 8 of Surah At-Tariq 21 times — feeling its meaning; if you cannot keep your heart on the count, close your eyes and focus for about 5 minutes.
- Recite part of verse 35 of Surah Fussilat 7 times + blow; then make this dua 3 times: "Allahummarzuqnil hadhal 'azim" (O Allah, grant me great good fortune).
- Drink the water.
The two verses
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌۭ
Indeed, He [i.e., Allāh], to return him [to life], is Able. (Surah At-Taariq 86:8 — Saheeh International)
وَمَا يُلَقَّىٰهَآ إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍۢ
But none is granted it except those who are patient, and none is granted it except one having a great portion [of good]. (Surah Fussilat 41:35 — Saheeh International; meaning of the complete verse)
For how long, and with what else?
- Continue every day — until you feel completely clean inside
- If needed, a full month — or even longer if you wish, there is no problem
- Along with it, without fail — the morning and evening adhkar, salah, and abundant istighfar
The Shaykh says — in sha Allah the knot will begin to loosen within a few days; Allah will return the tawfiq that was taken away, in sha Allah.
