The Qareen Does Not Forget Easily — The Surah That Makes Him "Forget"

After ruqyah you felt real relief — then a few days later, mild symptoms started coming back? Is everyone saying "the magic has been renewed"? The Shaykh says — the truth is often much deeper, and far less frightening.

After ruqyah you felt real relief — then a few days later, mild symptoms started coming back? Is everyone saying "the magic has been renewed"? The Shaykh says — the truth is often much deeper, and far less frightening.

The Familiar Story

  • After ruqyah/the program, real peace — good sleep, symptoms gone, a sense of openness inside
  • After a few days the symptoms start to return — but mild, and on and off
  • Immediately you think: "The magic has been renewed! The 'arid has come back!"
  • Some raqis even say — "Yes, it has been renewed"

Yet notice — you felt for yourself the proof that the khadim/mass had left. So what is this mild aftereffect?

The Real Explanation — The Empty Chair

During the long years of your illness, your qareen sat beside you and watched everything — in what pattern the waswasa came, at what time your chest tightened, how each task got blocked. He has memorized all of it.

Then the khadim/mass departed — the chair is empty. And the qareen, who had been watching and learning all this time, now sits in that chair and tries to stage the old drama again.

Hold on to the Shaykh's words — "Not because he is stronger than you; merely out of long habit." This is why the symptoms return mild and on and off — not as heavy as the original.

Your Task — Not Fear, but Breaking the Pattern

  1. Do not be afraid — thinking "everything has come back" is exactly his victory.
  2. Establish your new healthy state as normal — routine, worship, peace.
  3. Break the old pattern — change the earlier habits, timings and reactions.
  4. Stop checking for symptoms every hour.

Amal — Surah Al-Buruj

If you wish, recite over water, drink that water and lightly wipe your face and head with it.

  • Continue from 7 days up to one month
  • Stay calm — no tension, and do not magnify the symptoms

The Shaykh says — many people have found relief in this; by Allah's command this Surah brings "forgetfulness" to the qareen regarding that memorized pattern — he forgets the very script of the old drama, in sha Allah.

Final Word

With time you will notice — the old state is becoming weaker and weaker, in sha Allah.

Do not let any minor symptom frighten you and take you back to zero.

Steadiness, peace, consistency — the three companions on the path to recovery.
