For those suffering from mass or the qareen's domination — certain habits in certain places in the home increase their suffering and delay shifa. Get to know these three places, in sha Allah.
First, understand the framework
The Shaykh made it clear at the very start — these are not general rules for everyone.
These words are for those who are suffering from mass, the qareen's domination, or severe spiritual exhaustion — especially those who are currently within a treatment program.
And note — the problem is not the place itself; the problem is the sum of the place + your mental state.
Shifa lies not only in the ruqyah program — but also in closing the doors through which the suffering gains strength, in sha Allah.
Place 1 — the bathroom, especially at night
Entering is not the problem — the problem is the mental state inside. If you enter with fear, in low spirits, while crying, or lost in anxious thoughts — and especially if you stay a long time — the qareen or mass finds an opportunity and gains strength.
- Keep your time short in the bathroom — as much as possible.
- Do not enter in a weak, broken state; be especially careful at night.
- Hold on to the masnun duas for entering and leaving.
Place 2 — the mirror, especially at night
A mirror is not mere glass — gazing for a long time means excessive fixation of the eyes and mind. Staring at yourself for a long time at night opens the door to waswasa, frightening, and hints and signals — according to the Shaykh's explanation.
- Stop long staring into the mirror at night; do not make it a daily habit.
- If there is a mirror in the bedroom — it is good to keep it covered at night/during sleep.
- During treatment, stay away from the mirror as much as possible.
Place 3 — thick darkness
The darkness itself is not to blame. But for an afflicted person, pitch darkness becomes an atmosphere of fear — the feeling that something is behind you, causeless panic. And fear is the food of the qareen and mass.
- Do not sleep in pitch darkness — keep a dim light on.
- When entering a very dark room — enter saying Bismillah and the dhikr of Allah, and switch on the light.
- Do not give yourself the opportunity to panic.
By avoiding these three + keeping to the right treatment program — you will see the difference yourself, in sha Allah.
