For which problem: Fear of a bad death, accidents, drowning in water or burning in fire

◐ Experience of the pious — There is nothing in the method that goes against the Shariah, but the number and the duration are not fixed rulings of the Shariah.

Method

  1. Recite Surah Yasin once every day.
  2. After the Maghrib prayer, pray two rak'ahs of nafl.
  3. In each rak'ah, after Surah Al-Fatihah, recite the first four verses (ayahs) of Surah Yasin: “Ya-Sin. Wal-Qur'anil-Hakim. Innaka laminal-mursalin. 'Ala siratim-mustaqim.”
  4. At the end, make dua for death with faith.

Duration: Every day

The Raqi's Note

Making dua for a good death is directly a Sunnah — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself used to seek refuge from a bad death. Reciting any verse (ayah) in a nafl prayer is permissible. So there is nothing objectionable in this amal.

The remaining notes, sources and cautions for this amal are given in detail in the book.

The Marvel of Surah Yasin — The Heart of the Qur'an — Its virtues, stories and 26 tested amals

Surah Yasin is recited in homes everywhere. But no one tells you which amal is in the hadith, and which one has a risk to the creed in its method.

  • 26 amals — arranged by problem, with step-by-step methods
  • 13 accounts of virtues, each with its source
  • 15 true stories — from the original book
  • Common amals whose very method goes against the Shariah — why they were left out

A Bangla adaptation of the original Urdu book “Yasin ka Karishma” — arranged problem by problem, with a note from a professional raqi beside every amal (practice). Common amals whose very method conflicts with the Shariah have not been included — and why they were not included is also stated in the book itself.
