For which problem: easing the agony of death, gentleness in the taking of the soul

✓ In accordance with the Sunnah — it comes directly in a hadith or verse (ayah).

Method

  1. Sit beside the dying person and recite Surah Yasin slowly and clearly.
  2. Keep your voice low — the purpose is not wailing, but for mercy to descend.
  3. At the end, make dua for his forgiveness and for an easy death.

The raqi's note

From Ma'qil ibn Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him): "Surah Yasin is the heart of the Qur'an... So recite it over your dead." (Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban, Mustadrak al-Hakim, Musnad Ahmad)

The remaining notes, sources and cautions for this amal are given in detail in the book.

The Marvel of Surah Yasin — the heart of the Qur'an — its virtues, stories and 26 tested amals

Surah Yasin is recited in homes everywhere. But no one tells you which amal is in the hadith, and which one has a method that carries a risk to aqidah.

  • 26 amals — arranged by problem, with step-by-step methods
  • 13 accounts of virtues, each with its source
  • 15 true stories — from the original book
  • Why common amals whose very method goes against the Shariah were not included

A Bangla adaptation of the original Urdu book “Yasin ka Karishma” — arranged problem by problem, with a note from a professional raqi beside every amal (practice). Common amals whose very method conflicts with the Shariah have not been included — and why they were not included is also stated in the book itself.
