Introduction — who this protocol is for
This is a special collection of duas arranged in the light of the Qur'an and hadith for HSC, SSC and admission exam candidates. These duas are recited seeking beneficial knowledge, a firm memory, peace of heart in the exam hall, and a blessed result. It is best to recite them regularly after the Isha or Fajr salah, or before going to the exam hall.
Signs for which this protocol may help
- Feeling mental pressure and fear before the HSC, SSC or admission exam
- Having difficulty remembering what you study, repeatedly forgetting what you have memorized
- Feeling confused in the exam hall and being unable to write answers in an organized way
- Being anxious about the exam results of your child or yourself
- Keeping your intention pure in seeking knowledge and asking for blessed success
Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

If you do not aid him [i.e., the Prophet (peace be upon him)] - Allāh has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he [i.e., Muḥammad (peace be upon him)] said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allāh is with us." And Allāh sent down His tranquility upon him and supported him with soldiers [i.e., angels] you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allāh - that is the highest.
O Allah, I ask You, for You are the All-Knowing, the Most Wise, the Best of Openers and the Great Giver; O Raiser of ranks and Answerer of duas, O You who taught Adam (peace be upon him) the names of all things and granted Sulaiman (peace be upon him) deep wisdom and judgment — open for me the doors of Your mercy and wisdom, spread out over me the treasures of Your knowledge and understanding, and make me understand. O Allah, purify my intention in seeking knowledge and make it sincere solely for Your pleasure — not to show off before the ignorant, not to argue pointlessly with the learned, and not to gain any worldly interest.

An expanded form composed in the spirit of the hadith-based dua on purity of intention in seeking knowledge
O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy, and when You wish, You make even the difficult easy. So make every difficult matter in my studies and my life easy and smooth for me.
Recite: 1 time
A well-known hadith-based dua, expanded in the context of studying
I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, and from anxiety that keeps me preoccupied and from debt that weighs me down.

In light of the dua of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated in Sahih Bukhari (a shortened form of the original hadith)
O Allah, illuminate my heart, my eyes and my insight with the light of knowledge, make my chest a vessel for Your knowledge, and make my memory so firm that I never again forget what I have memorized. Make everything I have read and understood stay fixed in my mind like a design carved in stone, and awaken in my heart the knowledge to recall it at the moment of need.

Recite: 1 time
Make the question paper cool and safe for me, and show me only what I have prepared and studied. O Allah, grant me complete physical and mental well-being in my body, mind and soul, and protect me from every kind of harm, illness, calamity and anxiety, present and future, from the evil eye of the envier and from the scheming of the spiteful.
Recite: 1 time
The part "making the question cool and safe" is composed following the idea of Surah Al-Anbiya 21:69 — the original verse has already been added as a separate ref card
O Owner of absolute sovereignty, O Possessor of endless favor, O Most Merciful, O Great Giver, grant me a blessed success that exceeds even my expectations, and grant me a result that will bring me honor in this world and the Hereafter, one that delights my eyes and brings joy to the hearts of me, my parents, my teachers and my loved ones. O Allah, if this success is good for me, then make it easy for me; and if something else is good for me, then grant me excellent patience and the ability to be content with Your decree.
Recite: 1 time
O Allah, make this success a means of drawing closer to You and of gratitude to You. Accept the knowledge I have gained as proof in my favor on the Day of Resurrection, not against me.

Recite: 7 times
(Bukhari 5743)
📌 Self-ruqyah guideline
Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.
Method — step by step
- Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
- Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
- Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
- Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
- Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
- In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
- At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
- Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.
Daily schedule
| Morning | After Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes |
| Evening | After Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes |
| Night | Before sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water |
| Weekly | One ruqyah bath a week |
Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)
During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, make the acquiring of knowledge easy for me, strengthen my memory, grant my heart calm in the examination hall, and make the result good and blessed with barakah for me and my family.
Where to massage the recited-over oil
Focus for Duas for Success in Knowledge and Exams: This amal is done through dua and recitation; there is no need to use oil.
Supplements and weekly practices
| Recited-over water | Recite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping. |
| Recited-over honey | Blow into pure honey and take one spoonful every morning. It is good to recite verse 69 of Surah An-Nahl and then blow into it. |
| Recited-over olive oil | Recite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping. |
| Black seed (nigella) | Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688) |
| Ruqyah bath | Recite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week. |
| Spraying the home | Put recited-over water in a spray bottle and spray it in the corners of the house, on the doors and windows, and under the bed. |
Daily practices (amal)
Alongside ruqyah, it is these practices that give long-term protection.
| After Fajr | Surah Yasin 1 time |
| Morning and evening | The morning and evening adhkar from Hisnul Muslim, regularly |
| After Asr | Surah Al-Waqi'ah 1 time |
| At night | Surah Qaf 3 times, Surah Al-Mulk 1 time |
| Before sleeping | Ayat al-Kursi 1 time, the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, and the three Quls 3 times each. Blow into your hands and wipe them over your whole body. |
| Every day | Give sadaqah as much as you can, every day, even if only a little. Sadaqah wards off calamity. |
| Every day | The obligatory salah in congregation, istighfar 100 times, salawat upon the Prophet 100 times |
Ruqyah is a Shariah-based method of treatment; it is not a substitute for necessary medical treatment.
