For which problem: proposals come but fall through, long delay in marriage

◐ Experience of the pious elders — there is nothing in the method that contradicts the Shariah, but the number and the duration are not fixed rulings of the Shariah.

How it has come down

The mother of a young woman reported: “There were obstacles to my daughters' marriage. Proposals would come and then end.” She was told to recite verse 36 of Surah Yasin with understanding of its meaning. After that, her daughters were married into good families.

Method

  1. Recite verse 36 of Surah Yasin repeatedly, with understanding of its meaning — “Subhanal-ladhi khalaqal azwaja kullaha mimma tumbitul ardu wa min anfusihim wa mimma la ya'lamun.” (Glorified is the Majestic One who created all things in pairs — from what the earth grows, from themselves, and from things they do not know.)
  2. At the end, recite the whole of Surah Yasin and make dua.

The Raqi's Commentary

The fit between the verse and the topic is beautiful — it is Allah who creates everything in pairs. That it is to be recited with understanding is also a positive point.

The remaining commentary, sources and cautions for this amal are given in detail in the book.

The Marvel of Surah Yasin — The Heart of the Qur'an — its virtues, accounts, and 26 tested amals

Surah Yasin is recited in homes everywhere. But which amal is found in the hadith, and which one has a method that carries a risk to belief — no one tells you.

  • 26 amals — arranged by problem, with step-by-step methods
  • 13 accounts of virtues, each with its source
  • 15 true accounts — from the original book
  • Common amals whose very method goes against the Shariah — why they were not included

A Bangla adaptation of the original Urdu book “Yasin ka Karishma” — arranged problem by problem, with a note from a professional raqi beside every amal (practice). Common amals whose very method conflicts with the Shariah have not been included — and why they were not included is also stated in the book itself.
