Introduction — who this protocol is for

Most causes of obesity are medical — hormones, thyroid, eating habits, sleep and lifestyle. So please see a doctor first. This protocol is for those who suspect that sihr, the influence of Shaytan, the evil eye, hasad or a knot lies behind the loss of their good looks or a sudden, abnormal weight gain. Here, Surah Al-Fatihah, the special duas related to obesity, and the verses about food and drink are arranged as one continuous recitation.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. [All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds - The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
Recite: 3 times Intention: Surah Al-Fatihah — the foundation of ruqyah

Verses on food, drink and self-restraint

After the duas, recite these verses. In the audio source, the marked part of each verse is recited more than once (the number of repetitions is not certain); here the complete verse is given. Recite the four verses in the same order, going through them twice.
2
Surah Al-A'raaf 7:31

And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allāh has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him].
Recite: Several times Intention: A warning against food over which Allah's name was not mentioned
4
Surah Al-Baqara 2:174
Indeed, they who conceal what Allāh has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allāh will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.

Closing verse

In the final part of the audio, the latter part of this verse (وَتَصْرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ …) is recited repeatedly for a long time. Recite it with the thought that control over the wind and the clouds is in Allah's hand.

Surah Al-Baqara 2:164
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the [great] ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allāh has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every [kind of] moving creature, and [His] directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and earth are signs for a people who use reason.

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Daily schedule

MorningAfter Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes
EveningAfter Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes
NightBefore sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water
WeeklyOne ruqyah bath a week

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, remove from my body the effects of all magic, the evil eye, envy and knots. Grant me self-restraint and barakah (blessing) in my appetite and eating habits. Grant me the ability to take only halal and pure food, and restore health and balance to my body.

Where to massage the recited-over oil

Focus for Obesity and Weight Gain: The stomach and the gland areas (the front of the throat, the waist)

Supplements and weekly practices

Recited-over waterRecite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping.
Recited-over honeyBlow into pure honey and take one spoonful every morning. It is good to recite verse 69 of Surah An-Nahl and then blow into it.
Recited-over olive oilRecite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping.
Black seed (nigella)Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688)
Ruqyah bathRecite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week.
Spraying the homePut recited-over water in a spray bottle and spray it in the corners of the house, on the doors and windows, and under the bed.

At nightSurah Qaf 3 times, Surah Al-Mulk 1 time
