Introduction — who this protocol is for
This guide is a complete self-ruqyah system. Every organ and part of the body, and every important area of life (health, provision, marriage, studies, wealth, mental state), is identified separately, and a specific Qur'anic verse has been chosen for each one. For the part where you feel your own problem lies, first recite the intention-dua printed for that part again and again, then recite the related verse. This is not a protocol for any single symptom; rather, it is a reference collection made to be used as a comprehensive daily protective ruqyah routine.
Signs for which this protocol may help
- Anyone who is not experiencing one specific symptom, but is feeling problems in several parts of the body or several areas of life
- You are repeatedly facing vague obstacles in business, provision, studies or marriage
- You want to cover the whole body and the whole of life together as a daily protective amal
- You are doing ruqyah haphazardly, not understanding which verse applies to which problem
- You are looking for separate duas for specific life situations such as pregnancy, surgery or old age
Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).
Opening duas
Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times
Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times
Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times

Ruqyah for every organ and system of the body
Choose only the part for the organ where you feel the problem. Make your intention, recite the printed dua again and again, then recite the verse.
وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ۸۲
And We send down of the Qur’ān that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For shifa and protection of the head, brain and nervous system
يٰأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاءٌ لِّمَا فِى الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۵۷
O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For ailments inside the chest connected with the heart and blood circulation
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ ۱
Did We not expand for you, [O Muḥammad], your breast?
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For opening the chest and making breathing easy in the lungs and respiratory system
فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُۥ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ۸۱
And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allāh will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allāh does not amend the work of corrupters.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For nullifying the effect of magic in the stomach in the digestive system, stomach and liver
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنٰهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۳۰
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and then We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For removing harmful substances from the kidneys and the excretory system
وَزَكَرِيَّا إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْنِى فَرْدًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْوٰرِثِينَ ۸۹
And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while You are the best of inheritors."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For the reproductive system, for the continuation of offspring and for healing
وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِىَ خَلْقَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ مَن يُحْىِ الْعِظٰمَ وَهِىَ رَمِيمٌ ۷۸ قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِى أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ ۷۹
And he presents for Us an example and forgets his [own] creation. He says, "Who will give life to bones while they are disintegrated?" Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For healing of the bones and bone marrow in the bones, joints and muscular system
الَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ ۷
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For inner balance and harmony of the hormones and glands
ارْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ ۴۲
[So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for a] cool bath and drink."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For healing and coolness of the skin, hair and nails
قَالَ هَلْ ءَامَنُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا كَمَا أَمِنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَخِيهِ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ فَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حٰفِظًا ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِينَ ۶۴
He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allāh is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For physical defense and protection of the immune system
۞ وَلَهُۥ مَا سَكَنَ فِى الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ۱۳
And to Him belongs that which reposes by night and by day, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For removing the suffering of unexplained aches and pains, and of pain that moves from one place to another
وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُۥ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ۱۷
And if Allāh should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For removing any physical harm to the blood, bone marrow and immune system
وَاللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّن بُطُونِ أُمَّهٰتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْـًٔا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصٰرَ وَالْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۙ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ۷۸
And Allāh has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect] that perhaps you would be grateful.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For the health of the senses of the eyes, ears, nose, throat and teeth, and for gratitude
هُوَ الْأَوَّلُ وَالْءَاخِرُ وَالظّٰهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُ ۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ ۳
He is the First and the Last, the Ascendant and the Intimate, and He is, of all things, Knowing.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For health and regulation at the deepest level of the cells and atoms
الَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ شَرِيكٌ فِى الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ تَقْدِيرًا ۲
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For the physical measure and balance of metabolic processes, enzymes and hormones
قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِى أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصٰرَ وَالْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۖ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ ۲۳
Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect]; little are you grateful."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For protecting the senses of smell, taste and touch as a blessing from Allah
Ruqyah to prevent specific types of sihr and magic
Choose the type that best matches your own problem and recite it.
وَاتَّبَعُوا مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمٰنَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمٰنُ وَلٰكِنَّ الشَّيٰطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هٰرُوتَ وَمٰرُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَارِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا لَمَنِ اشْتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِى الْءَاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلٰقٍ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهِۦ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ۱۰۲
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Hārūt and Mārūt. But they [i.e., the two angels] do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allāh. And they [i.e., people] learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But they [i.e., the Children of Israel] certainly knew that whoever purchased it [i.e., magic] would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.

Intention: For destroying magic that causes separation in the family and in marriage

Surah Ash-Shu'araa 26:80
وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ ۸۰
And when I am ill, it is He who cures me
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For healing from magic that causes sickness and lethargy in body and mind
19
Surah Al-Muminoon 23:97-98
وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزٰتِ الشَّيٰطِينِ ۹۷ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ ۹۸
And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For removing satanic waswasa that causes distortion of the brain, restlessness and madness

Surah Al-Furqaan 25:23
وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنٰهُ هَبَاءً مَّنثُورًا ۲۳
And We will approach [i.e., regard] what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For destroying and rendering void the amal (practice) of the magic knots, pacts and amulets tied on the body or outside it

Surah Al-A'raaf 7:117-118
۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۖ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ ۱۱۷ فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ ۱۱۸
And We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it devoured what they were falsifying. So the truth was established, and abolished was what they were doing.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For destroying the poisonous effect and deception of magic that has entered the body through food and drink
فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُۥ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ۸۱

Intention: For nullifying magic materials hidden under the ground or in nature
إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِى خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى الَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرٰتٍ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِينَ ۵۴
Indeed, your Lord is Allāh, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.

Intention: For declaring Allah's absolute power against magic done using planets, stars or cosmic matters
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسٰنَ فِى أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ۴
We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For declaring Allah's finest creation, against hereditary or genetic magic
Ruqyah for provision, studies, marriage and relationships
Choose the part for the area of life where you feel obstacles.
إِنَّ هٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ ۵۴
Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For increasing barakah in business, provision and career
فَتَعٰلَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْءَانِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُۥ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِى عِلْمًا ۱۱۴
So high [above all] is Allāh, the Sovereign, the Truth. And, [O Muḥammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur’ān before its revelation is completed to you, and say, "My Lord, increase me in knowledge."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For studies, intellect, and increased knowledge in exams
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰ ۶
We will make you recite, [O Muḥammad], and you will not forget,
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For memorizing lessons and not forgetting, for a strong memory
وَمِنْ ءَايٰتِهِۦ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوٰجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذٰلِكَ لَءَايٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ۲۱
And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For happiness and tranquility in marriage and married life
29
Surah As-Saaffaat 37:7
وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍ ۷
And as protection against every rebellious devil
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For overall safety and protection of the home, the family, and everything
وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِن تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِنكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا ۳۹
And why did you, when you entered your garden, not say, 'What Allāh willed [has occurred]; there is no power except in Allāh'? Although you see me less than you in wealth and children,
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For barakah in everyday belongings, vehicles, and wealth, and for protection from the evil eye

Surah Taa-Haa 20:27-28
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى ۲۷ يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِى ۲۸
And untie the knot from my tongue That they may understand my speech.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For loosening the tongue and overcoming hesitation in speaking, communication, and social relationships
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَالْعَصْرِ ۱ إِنَّ الْإِنسٰنَ لَفِى خُسْرٍ ۲ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ ۳
By time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For focus, productivity, and safeguarding the barakah of time
Ruqyah for peace of mind, trauma, and spiritual connection
Choose whichever mental or spiritual difficulty troubles you the most.
الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ ۲۸
Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allāh. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allāh hearts are assured."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For peace of heart in mental health, sleep, and psychological problems
إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطٰنُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدٰوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ فِى الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ وَيَصُدَّكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَعَنِ الصَّلَوٰةِ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّنتَهُونَ ۹۱
Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allāh and from prayer. So will you not desist?
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For being saved from the traps of Shaytan in addiction, bad habits, and phobias
قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَشْكُوا بَثِّى وَحُزْنِى إِلَى اللَّهِ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ۸۶
He said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allāh, and I know from Allāh that which you do not know.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For removing the unbearable pain of past emotional wounds, grief, and trauma
36
Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:8
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ ۸
[Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For keeping faith firm and being protected from the heart going astray
إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ ۱۱
[Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan and to make steadfast your hearts and plant firmly thereby your feet.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For fear-free sleep and peace amid dreams, nightmares, and spiritual attacks
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِۦ وَأَنَّهُۥ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ ۲۴
O you who have believed, respond to Allāh and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allāh intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.

اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ۖ وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ عِندَهُۥ بِمِقْدَارٍ ۸
Allāh knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose [prematurely] or exceed. And everything with Him is by due measure.

Surah Al-Anbiyaa 21:83
۞ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِينَ ۸۳
And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the most merciful of the merciful."

Intention: For deliverance from severe illness and hardship in complex and incurable diseases

Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:36
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَضَعْتُهَا أُنثَىٰ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنثَىٰ ۖ وَإِنِّى سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّى أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ الرَّجِيمِ ۳۶
But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allāh was most knowing of what she delivered, and the male is not like the female. "And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allāh]."

Intention: For the protection of children and future generations in the physical and mental development of children
يٰأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِى رَيْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنٰكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ ۚ وَنُقِرُّ فِى الْأَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ ۖ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِن بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْـًٔا ۚ وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ ۵
O people, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out as a child, and then [We develop you] that you may reach your [time of] maturity. And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age so that he knows, after [once having] knowledge, nothing. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down upon it rain, it quivers and swells and grows [something] of every beautiful kind.

Intention: For protection during pregnancy and of the child in the womb up to a specific time
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ الْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلٰهٌ مَّعَ اللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ۶۲
Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allāh? Little do you remember.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For calling upon Allah and receiving help in emergencies, surgery, and ICU situations
يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِى الْحَيَوٰةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِى الْءَاخِرَةِ ۖ وَيُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الظّٰلِمِينَ ۚ وَيَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۲۷
Allāh keeps firm those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter. And Allāh sends astray the wrongdoers. And Allāh does what He wills.
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For remaining steadfast in faith amid the problems of old age and at the moment before death
General protection from the evil eye and hasad
Recite this section if you feel that the evil eye or hasad has affected you and your family.
وَإِن يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصٰرِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُۥ لَمَجْنُونٌ ۵۱
And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes [i.e., looks] when they hear the message, and they say, "Indeed, he is mad."
Recite: Recite for 15 minutes
Intention: For relief from the evil eye and envy that have affected you and your family

These duas are arranged specifically for this problem. Recite them after you finish the verses.
اللَّهُمَّ احْرِقْ كُلَّ سِحْرٍ عَلَى جَسَدِي وَأَحْوَالِي
O Allah! Burn away all sihr in every matter of my body and my life.
Recite: 7 times
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يُبْطَلُ كُلُّ تَسَلُّطٍ عَلَى جَسَدِي وَأَحْوَالِي
In the name of Allah — all control over every matter of my body and my life is hereby nullified.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ فُكَّ كُلَّ عُقْدَةٍ عُقِدَتْ عَلَى جَسَدِي وَأَحْوَالِي
O Allah! By Your power and might, undo every knot tied upon every matter of my body and my life.
Recite: 7 times
Closing surahs and duas
End every session this way. At the end, blow into water and drink it.

Surah Al-Ikhlaas 112:1-4
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۱ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ۲ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۳ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ۴
Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Recite: 3 times
Intention: Strengthening the heart by declaring tawhid
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۱ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۲ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۳ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِ ۴ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ۵
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from magic, hasad (envy) and the evil of the night
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۱ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۲ إِلٰهِ النَّاسِ ۳ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۴ الَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۵ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ۶
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer - Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind".
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from the waswasa (whispers) of mankind and jinn
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times
The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times
Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline
Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.
Method — step by step
- Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
- Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
- Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
- Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
- Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
- In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
- At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
- Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, destroy all the evil eye, hasad, sihr, 'uqqad, and the Shaytan jinn, inside and outside the body, together with all their effects, connected with every part and organ of my body and every area of my life. Grant me complete health and peace.

| Recited-over water | Recite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping. |
