Introduction — who this protocol is for

Both the home and the body can sometimes become a refuge for jinn or a target of magic. This protocol begins with a firm 'tahrij' (compelling them to leave by a lawful oath), and then recites in sequence the verses of sovereignty and power and the specific duas for destroying jinn and magic. Balance is important here too: discomfort in the home or unexplained suffering in the body does not always mean jinn or magic, but if the signs match, continue this protocol regularly and with patience.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Hārūt and Mārūt. But they [i.e., the two angels] do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allāh. And they [i.e., people] learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But they [i.e., the Children of Israel] certainly knew that whoever purchased it [i.e., magic] would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Presenting to the wrongdoing jinn the truth that magic cannot harm anyone without Allah's permission

And [mention, O Muḥammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term which You appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allāh wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing."

O Allah! By Your strength and power, undo every knot that has been tied in my home and body.
Recite: 7 times
O company of jinn and their kings, O servants of magic, O jinn dwelling in houses, and you who have taken refuge in the body through wrongdoing, magic or the evil eye: I impose strict command upon you. I adjure you by the Almighty Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne: in obedience to Allah and His Messenger, leave this body. In the name of the Lord of the worlds, I say: leave! You are impure. Leave and never return. Do not harm any Muslim man or woman, do not obstruct anyone's provision or marriage, and do not cause separation between any husband and wife.
Recite: Repeatedly, especially stressing the part 'اخْرُجُوا' (come out) The main opening tahrij of the protocol (compelling them to leave by oath); the whole protocol begins with it

By the majesty of Allah, after today you have no place within us. Allah is Great; by the command of Allah you will burn to ashes. There is no god but Allah; He is One, He has no partner. His is the dominion and His is all praise. He has power over all things.
Recite: Several times The last part ("La ilaha illallahu...") is a well-known hadith-based tahlil dhikr, not a verse of the Qur'an

In the name of Allah, may our anxiety be removed and our hardship lifted. By the majesty of Allah, we seek Allah's help against the wrongdoers. Allah is Great; let the hands of the magicians and their accomplices be cut off. In the name of Allah, let provision return and the doors of mercy open. By the majesty of Allah, let harmony return and hatred be removed. In the name of Allah, let all control and vengefulness come to an end. By the majesty of Allah, we protect the children, women and men.
Recite: Several times, with deep faith Right after this, the source quotes a part of a verse (ayah) from Surah As-Saff, 61:13, which has been added as a separate ref card in the section above.
[A portion of the verse (ayah) of Surah Al-Baqarah 2:102: 'وَمَا هُم بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ' — included on a separate reference card] فَلَا قُوَّةَ لَكُمْ إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ. [A portion of the verse (ayah) of Surah Al-An'am 6:128: 'يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ' — included on a separate reference card]
Know, O wrongdoers! O oppressive company of jinn! Indeed you are wrongdoers and transgressors, and Allah does not love the wrongdoers. Why do you dwell in a body that Allah has made forbidden, and why do you destroy homes that were flourishing with the dhikr of Allah? Do you think you are the kings? Never! You are only slaves under command, and soon you will have to stand before Allah, the Almighty. Allah will ask you for an account of every tear shed, every illness and every divorce. You have no power except by the will of Allah. The command of Allah to purify this body has come. Go to the land of the jinn; do not remain in the dwellings of human beings. Indeed, a time has been set for you that will not be broken, the day when Allah will say.
Recite: 1 time, in a firm voice In this long warning, parts of verses (ayat) from two different surahs are quoted verbatim (2:102 and 6:128); as per the rule, both have been added as separate ref cards in the section above. Before publication, it is suggested to check the exact lettering of this long classical Arabic passage once more against the original source image.
O Allah! O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining! Lord of Jibril, Mika'il and Israfil! Restore tranquillity and love to this house, change their illness into healing, and grant them victory and ease.
Recite: Several times An expanded form, for protecting the home, of the well-known dua narrated in the hadith (Lord of Jibril, Mika'il and Israfil); these are not the exact words of the hadith
O Allah! Wherever their magic may be, whatever it may be, and for whatever purpose it was done, nullify all of it. In the name of Allah we have sealed the body, in the name of Allah we have protected the house, in the name of Allah we have stopped their return.
Recite: Several times
O Allah! By Your might and power, nullify all magic, undo the knots, break the bindings, and remove the evil eye, the influence of the jinn and envy. O Almighty, O All-Powerful!
Recite: Several times

I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times (Bukhari 5743)

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Daily schedule

MorningAfter Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes
EveningAfter Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes
NightBefore sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water
WeeklyOne ruqyah bath a week

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, protect my house and body from the jinn, magic and every harm. Undo whatever has created obstacles for me, and restore my provision, my recovery from illness and my tranquillity.

Where to massage the recited-over oil

Focus for Tahrij for the Home and Body: Over the whole body, especially where pain, burning or discomfort is felt
