Introduction — who this protocol is for
There is a common misconception among people — that if magic is mixed into water and fed to someone, scattered into the air, buried under the ground, or done by burning in fire, then it must be stronger or harder to break than other kinds of magic. The reality is exactly the opposite. Water, air, earth and fire — all four of these elements are the creation of Allah, and none of them has any independent power of its own. The fire that Allah made cool and safe in an instant for Ibrahim (peace be upon him), the water upon which His Throne was established, the air that cannot move even a single cloud without His command, and even the fire from which the jinn themselves were created — that fire too is not the jinn's own property, but is Allah's creation and under His control. So there is no reason to fear magic done through any particular element separately — fear only Allah, and place your trust only in His Words.
Signs for which this protocol may help
- Feeling heaviness in the body or discomfort whenever you go near a well, a pond or a particular water source
- Suddenly feeling reluctance or an unusual sensation when using water for wudu or bathing
- Sudden shivering or a creeping feeling on the skin when a certain wind or breeze touches the body
- Feeling restless as soon as you set foot on the courtyard, the yard of the house or a particular patch of earth
- Heart pounding and feeling afraid when you smell something burning or go near a fire
- Feeling as if something is pressed down or buried in a certain corner of the house or under the ground
- Anger or restlessness increasing for no reason when you go near the kitchen stove or a fire
Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.

Opening duas
Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times
Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times
Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times

Breaking Magic Done Through Water and Air
If you have a particular fear about a well, a pond, the water of wudu or bathing, or the wind, stand in front of a container of water or in the open air and recite these verses (ayahs) with full certainty.
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنٰهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ۳۰
Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, and then We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Every living being is created from water — no one's magic has ownership over water; the only Owner is Allah
وَهُوَ الَّذِى خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُۥ عَلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۗ وَلَئِن قُلْتَ إِنَّكُم مَّبْعُوثُونَ مِن بَعْدِ الْمَوْتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هٰذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ ۷
And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say, "Indeed, you are resurrected after death," those who disbelieve will surely say, "This is not but obvious magic."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Allah's Throne was upon the water — from the very beginning of creation, water has been under His authority
وَهُوَ الَّذِى يُرْسِلُ الرِّيٰحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَقَلَّتْ سَحَابًا ثِقَالًا سُقْنٰهُ لِبَلَدٍ مَّيِّتٍ فَأَنزَلْنَا بِهِ الْمَاءَ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ ۚ كَذٰلِكَ نُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتَىٰ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ ۵۷
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy [i.e., rainfall] until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby [some] of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.
Recite: 3 times
Intention: The wind carries clouds and water only by Allah's command; it carries nothing on its own
وَهُوَ الَّذِى أَرْسَلَ الرِّيٰحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَىْ رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً طَهُورًا ۴۸
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy [i.e., rainfall], and We send down from the sky pure water
Recite: 3 times
Intention: It is Allah who sends the winds before His mercy — no magic scattered in the air can reach anyone without His permission
Breaking Magic Done Through Earth and Fire
If you fear magic buried under the ground or burned in fire, walk around the house and through the kitchen and recite these verses (ayahs).
قَالَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍ ۷۶
He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Iblis was created from fire, Adam (peace be upon him) from earth — both elements are subject to Allah's command, and Iblis has no power of his own
وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنٰهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ ۲۷
And the jinn We created before from scorching fire.
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The jinn were created from intensely hot fire — even the fire from which they were created is Allah's creation and under His control
وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ ۱۵
And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire.
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The jinn were created from a flame of smokeless fire — without the Creator's command, no jinn can cause harm with fire
قُلْنَا يٰنَارُ كُونِى بَرْدًا وَسَلٰمًا عَلَىٰ إِبْرٰهِيمَ ۶۹
We [i.e., Allāh] said, "O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The command for the fire to become cool and safe for Ibrahim (peace be upon him) — even fire listens to Allah's word, not to the magician's
Special duas — Magic Done Through Water, Air, Earth and Fire
These duas are arranged specifically for this problem. Recite them after you finish the verses.
اللَّهُمَّ احْرِقْ كُلَّ سِحْرِ الْعَنَاصِرِ عَلَى جَسَدِي وَبَيْئَتِي
O Allah! Burn away all the magic of the four elements that is on my body and around me.
Recite: 7 times
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يُبْطَلُ كُلُّ تَسَلُّطٍ عَلَى جَسَدِي وَبَيْئَتِي
In the name of Allah — all control over my body and my surroundings is hereby nullified.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ فُكَّ كُلَّ عُقْدَةٍ عُقِدَتْ عَلَى جَسَدِي وَبَيْئَتِي
O Allah! By Your strength and power, untie every knot that has been tied on my body and around me.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ أَمَرْتَ النَّارَ أَنْ تَكُونَ بَرْدًا وَسَلَامًا أَبْطِلْ كُلَّ سِحْرٍ جُعِلَ فِي نَارٍ أَوْ رَمَادٍ أَوْ دُخَانٍ
O Allah, You who commanded the fire to be cool and safe — nullify every magic done through fire, ash or smoke.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ يَا خَالِقَ الْمَاءِ وَمُسَخِّرَهُ طَهِّرْ كُلَّ مَاءٍ سُحِرَ لِي أَوْ سُقِيتُ مِنْهُ وَأَبْطِلْ أَثَرَهُ
O Allah, Creator and Controller of water — purify every water that has been used to do magic against me or to make me drink, and nullify its effect.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ يَا مُصَرِّفَ الرِّيَاحِ وَبَارِئَ التُّرَابِ رُدَّ كُلَّ سِحْرٍ أُرْسِلَ فِي رِيحٍ أَوْ دُفِنَ فِي تُرَابٍ إِلَى صَاحِبِهِ
O Allah, Controller of the air and Creator of the earth — return every magic released into the air or buried in the ground back to its owner.
Recite: 7 times
Closing surahs and duas
End every session this way. At the end, blow into water and drink it.

Surah Al-Ikhlaas 112:1-4
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۱ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ۲ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۳ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ۴
Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Recite: 3 times
Intention: Strengthening the heart by declaring tawhid
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۱ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۲ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۳ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِ ۴ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ۵
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from magic, hasad (envy) and the evil of the night
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۱ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۲ إِلٰهِ النَّاسِ ۳ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۴ الَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۵ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ۶
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer - Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind".
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from the waswasa (whispers) of mankind and jinn
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times
The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times
Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline
Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.
Method — step by step
- Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
- Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
- Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
- Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
- Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
- In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
- At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
- Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)
During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, You are the absolute Owner of everything — water, air, earth and fire. If any magic has been done against me through any one of these four elements, nullify it completely. Keep everything under Your protection — the water I drink, the air I breathe in, the earth under my feet and the fire around me. Keep me and my home free from every kind of harm.
Where to massage the recited-over oil

Supplements and weekly practices
| Recited-over water | Recite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping. |

| Recited-over honey | Blow into pure honey and take one spoonful every morning. It is good to recite verse 69 of Surah An-Nahl and then blow into it. |

| Recited-over olive oil | Recite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping. |

| Black seed (nigella) | Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688) |

| Ruqyah bath | Recite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week. |

| Spraying the home | Put recited-over water in a spray bottle and spray it in the corners of the house, on the doors and windows, and under the bed. |

Ruqyah is a Shariah-based method of treatment; it is not a substitute for necessary medical treatment.
