Introduction — who this protocol is for

Sometimes sihr (magic) is made to enter the body through food or drink — this is called 'magic of eating and drinking'. In this protocol, verses of the Qur'an in which the word 'stomach/belly' (butun) appears are recited in sequence — in the context of creation, provision, punishment and deliverance — so that whatever has been put into the stomach may dissolve, burst and have its knots undone, and come out by the power of Allah. Not every stomach problem is caused by magic — most are due to medical causes. However, if it matches other signs, continue this protocol consistently.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

Verses of creation and blessings related to the stomach (butun)

Recite each verse (ayah) once, in sequence. Recite with the belief that complete control over whatever is in the stomach is in the hands of Allah.
1
Surah Al-Baqara 2:174
Indeed, they who conceal what Allāh has sent down of the Book and exchange it for a small price - those consume not into their bellies except the Fire. And Allāh will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. And they will have a painful punishment.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering the consequence of every harmful thing that enters the stomach by unlawful means
2
Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:35
[Mention, O Muḥammad], when the wife of ʿImrān said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing."
Recite: 1 time Intention: Acknowledging that Allah is the only Owner of everything in the womb and in the stomach
3
Surah Al-An'aam 6:139
And they say, "What is in the bellies of these animals is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our females. But if it is [born] dead, then all of them have shares therein." He will punish them for their description. Indeed, He is Wise and Knowing.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering that control over what is in the stomach is in the hands of Allah alone
4
Surah An-Nahl 16:66
And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies - between excretion and blood - pure milk, palatable to drinkers.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering Allah's power to bring something pure and beneficial out of the stomach
5
Surah An-Nahl 16:69
Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you]." There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colors, in which there is healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering the power to bring something healing out of the stomach, and asking that the sihr (magic) also come out in the same way

Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering Allah's complete control over what is inside the stomach and His power to grant benefit
8
Surah An-Noor 24:45
Allāh has created every [living] creature from water. And of them are those that move on their bellies, and of them are those that walk on two legs, and of them are those that walk on four. Allāh creates what He wills. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Reciting with the belief that even creatures that move on their bellies are subject to Allah's command — and the sihr too will be destroyed by His command

Verses about the punishment in the stomach and the zaqqum

These verses describe the punishment of Hellfire — recite them with the intention of recalling the punishment due to the one who practises sihr, so that it may apply to the sihr lodged in the stomach. The specific portion below must be repeated separately.
9
Surah Al-Hajj 22:19-21
These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water By which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins. And for [striking] them are maces of iron.
Recite: Recite the full verse (ayah) 1 time, then recite the part 'yushharu bihi ma fi butunihim' (what is in their bellies will be melted) separately 7 times Intention: Reciting especially with the plea that what is in the stomach be melted and brought out
10
Surah As-Saaffaat 37:62-68

Is that [i.e., Paradise] a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqūm? Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Recalling the punishment of the zaqqum tree and asking for the destruction of the sihr in the stomach

And had he not been of those who exalt Allāh, He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill.

12
Surah Ad-Dukhaan 44:43-49
Indeed, the tree of zaqqūm Is food for the sinful. Like murky oil, it boils within bellies Like the boiling of scalding water. [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble!
Recite: 1 time Intention: Recalling the description of the boiling punishment in the stomach and asking for the destruction of the sihr
13

Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers, Will be eating from trees of zaqqūm And filling with it your bellies And drinking on top of it from scalding water.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Recalling the punishment of stomachs being filled with zaqqum and asking for the destruction of the sihr

Verses about the mother's womb and the mystery of creation

With these verses, Allah's complete knowledge and control over every hidden matter inside the stomach is remembered.
14
Surah Az-Zumar 39:6
He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allāh, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted?
Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering Allah's power of creation even in the darkness of the womb, and believing that the hidden sihr in the stomach is not unknown to Him
15
Surah Al-Fath 48:24
And it is He who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them within [the area of] Makkah after He caused you to overcome them. And ever is Allāh, of what you do, Seeing.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Allah held back the enemy's hands from the valley (the belly) — asking that the harm of the one who practises sihr also be removed from the stomach
16
Surah An-Najm 53:32
Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Remembering Allah's complete knowledge of the state of the womb, and believing that the sihr in the stomach is not unknown to Him

Specific verses for dissolving sihr, making it burst out, and undoing knots

A specific part of each of these three verses must be repeated separately 33 times each — the main effective part of this protocol is here.
17
Surah Al-Baqara 2:60
And [recall] when Moses prayed for water for his people, so We said, "Strike with your staff the stone." And there gushed forth from it twelve springs, and every people [i.e., tribe] knew its watering place. "Eat and drink from the provision of Allāh, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."
Recite: Recite the full verse (ayah) 1 time, then recite the part 'fanfajarat' (the springs burst forth) separately 33 times Intention: A plea that the sihr burst out of the stomach, as water burst forth from the rock
18
Surah Taa-Haa 20:25-28
[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand [i.e., relax] for me my breast [with assurance] And ease for me my task And untie the knot from my tongue That they may understand my speech.
Recite: Recite the full verse (ayah) 1 time, then recite the part 'wahlul uqdatan' (undo the knots) separately 33 times Intention: A plea to undo every knot tied by the sihr
19
Surah Al-Ahqaf 46:24-25
And when they saw it as a cloud approaching their valleys, they said, "This is a cloud bringing us rain!" Rather, it is that for which you were impatient: a wind, within it a painful punishment, Destroying everything by command of its Lord. And they became so that nothing was seen [of them] except their dwellings. Thus do We recompense the criminal people.
Recite: Recite the full verse (ayah) 1 time, then recite the part describing the destructive wind separately 33 times Intention: A plea that the sihr in the stomach be wiped out like a destructive wind

O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times (Bukhari 5743)

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Daily schedule

MorningAfter Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes
EveningAfter Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes
NightBefore sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water
WeeklyOne ruqyah bath a week

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, whatever has been fed or given to drink into my stomach, dissolve all of it, burst it out and remove it completely from my body. Grant me full health.
