Ruqyah Protocol
Sihr Al-Marshush
Ruqyah for destroying scattered magic and the jinn's fortress (hisar)
✦ ✦ ✦

Al Quranic Ruqyah Healing Center
Introduction — who this protocol is for
Sihr Al-Marshush refers to the magic that is scattered — usually on a walkway or in a courtyard — and whose effect is mostly felt in the feet. This protocol is especially effective for nullifying this kind of scattered magic, and for breaking the strong fortress (hisar) built by the jinn and crushing the jinn's hideout concealed in the body. If there are unusual sensations or signs in the feet, continue this protocol consistently.
Signs for which this protocol may help
- Unusual problems in the feet beginning after something was scattered or placed on a walkway or in a courtyard
- Repeatedly feeling intense heat, tingling or heaviness in the feet, for which no medical cause is found
- Sudden trembling in a particular place on the body, or a feeling of causeless fear
- Suspecting a jinn's hideout or scattered magic behind a long-standing problem of unknown cause
Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.

Opening duas
Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times
Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.

Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.

Verses for breaking the connection of magic through the hands and feet, and for breaking the fortress
Recite each verse (ayah) continuously (takrar). The repeated mention of hands and feet in these verses is used to break the connection of scattered magic and the fortress built by the jinn.
O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janābah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allāh does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.
Recite: Takrar (continuous recitation)
Intention: Intention to sever the connection of scattered magic through the hands and feet
Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allāh and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,
Recite: Takrar (continuous recitation)
Intention: Intention to break magic by recalling the punishment Allah has declared against the magician and his influence
And if only they had upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord [i.e., the Qur’ān], they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate [i.e., acceptable] community, but many of them - evil is that which they do.
Recite: Takrar (continuous recitation)
Intention: Intention to nullify the effect of magic coming from both above and below
Say, "He is the [one] Able to send upon you affliction from above you or from beneath your feet or to confuse you [so you become] sects and make you taste the violence of one another." Look how We diversify the signs that they might understand.
Recite: Takrar (continuous recitation)
Intention: Intention to destroy the jinn's fortress and the effect of magic from both above and below
Do they have feet by which they walk? Or do they have hands by which they strike? Or do they have eyes by which they see? Or do they have ears by which they hear? Say, [O Muḥammad], "Call your 'partners' and then conspire against me and give me no respite.
Recite: Takrar (continuous recitation)
Intention: Intention to nullify the effect of the magic by making the jinn that carries it realize its helplessness
Verse for turning scattered magic into dust
Recite the verse (ayah) 7 times and make the intention that the effect of the magic becomes scattered dust.
And We will approach [i.e., regard] what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Intention to turn the effect of the magic into dust
Special part for destroying the jinn's fortress (hisar)
Recite each verse (ayah) in full 1 time first, then repeat the indicated part separately 33 times. At this stage you may feel intense heat in the body, especially in the feet, tingling or heaviness (signs of scattered magic), or trembling or fear in a particular place (signs of the fortress being broken) — do not stop, keep reciting consistently; if it becomes very difficult, drink ruqyah water and sprinkle it on your body.
Those before them had already plotted, but Allāh came at [i.e., uprooted] their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.
Recite: The full verse (ayah) 1 time, then the part 'Allah struck at the foundations of their fortress' 33 times
Intention: Intention to destroy the fortress (hisar) built by the jinn from its foundation

(Bukhari 5743)
📌 Self-ruqyah guideline
Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.
Method — step by step
- Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
- Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
- Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
- Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
- Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
- In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
- At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
- Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.
Daily schedule
| Morning | After Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes |
| Evening | After Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes |
| Night | Before sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water |
| Weekly | One ruqyah bath a week |
Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)
During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, make every magic cast upon me fail, and crush every fortress built by the jinn. Restore health and strength to my feet and to every part of my body — no one has any power without Your command.
Where to massage the recited-over oil
Focus for Sihr Al-Marshush: The soles, the heels and the whole of the feet
Supplements and weekly practices
| Recited-over water | Recite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping. |
| Recited-over honey | Blow into pure honey and take one spoonful every morning. It is good to recite verse 69 of Surah An-Nahl and then blow into it. |
| Recited-over olive oil | Recite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping. |
| Black seed (nigella) | Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688) |
| Ruqyah bath | Recite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week. |
| Spraying the home | Put recited-over water in a spray bottle and spray it in the corners of the house, on the doors and windows, and under the bed. |
Daily practices (amal)
Alongside ruqyah, it is these practices that give long-term protection.
| After Fajr | Surah Yasin 1 time |
| Morning and evening | The morning and evening adhkar from Hisnul Muslim, regularly |
| After Asr | Surah Al-Waqi'ah 1 time |
| At night | Surah Qaf 3 times, Surah Al-Mulk 1 time |
| Before sleeping | Ayat al-Kursi 1 time, the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, and the three Quls 3 times each. Blow into your hands and wipe them over your whole body. |
| Every day | Give sadaqah as much as you can, every day, even if only a little. Sadaqah wards off calamity. |
| Every day | The obligatory salah in congregation, istighfar 100 times, salawat upon the Prophet 100 times |
Ruqyah is a Shariah-based method of treatment; it is not a substitute for necessary medical treatment.
