Introduction — who this protocol is for

First of all, it needs to be clear: family preference, social pressure or one's own indecision does not automatically mean magic. But when someone feels a pull toward a person that does not match their own conscience and reason, or the family suddenly and unusually becomes stubborn about one particular match and rejects every other proposal, then the signs need to be examined together. In this kind of magic there is usually an attempt to push a person's will by force toward one particular marriage, which snatches away the person's own free choice.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

Verses to nullify a decision imposed through magic

Make the intention: may no decision imposed on me through anyone's magic or coercion remain in effect upon me.
1
Surah Al-Baqara 2:256
There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become distinct from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in ṭāghūt and believes in Allāh has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.
Recite: 7 times Intention: Just as there is no compulsion in the religion, so too any compulsion over a person's will through magic is void
2
Surah An-Nisaa 4:19
O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality [i.e., adultery]. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allāh makes therein much good.
Recite: 7 times Intention: Forcing someone into marriage against their will is forbidden by Allah's own law
3
Surah Taa-Haa 20:73
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allāh is better and more enduring."
Recite: 7 times Intention: Trying to compel someone through magic is a Pharaoh-like scheme — it is worthless before Allah

Verses to regain your own free will and conscience

While reciting, feel that Allah is returning my heart and my ability to decide back under my own control.
4
Surah An-Nisaa 4:3
And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls, then marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one or those your right hands possess [i.e., slaves]. That is more suitable that you may not incline [to injustice].
Recite: 11 times Intention: Regaining the right to marry according to your own true choice
5
Surah An-Noor 24:33
But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allāh enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allāh which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allāh is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.
Recite: 7 times Intention: The principle of not forcing anyone against their wishes being established in your own life as well
6
Surah Al-Baqara 2:221
And do not marry polytheistic women until they believe. And a believing slave woman is better than a polytheist, even though she might please you. And do not marry polytheistic men [to your women] until they believe. And a believing slave is better than a polytheist, even though he might please you. Those invite [you] to the Fire, but Allāh invites to Paradise and to forgiveness, by His permission. And He makes clear His verses [i.e., ordinances] to the people that perhaps they may remember.
Recite: 7 times Intention: Regaining a sound conscience to choose a spouse by the right standard, looking at religion and character

Verses on true lawful marriage and Allah's provision

Recite these verses and hold the belief that a truly beneficial marriage comes through clarity, consent and Allah's grace, not through any magic or pressure.
7
Surah Al-Qasas 28:27
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allāh wills, from among the righteous."
Recite: 7 times Intention: Learning from the example of a marriage that takes place with clear terms and mutual consent
8
Surah An-Noor 24:32
And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allāh will enrich them from His bounty, and Allāh is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
Recite: 11 times Intention: Allah's promise to bring together the true spouse by His grace

O Allah, restore to my heart the free will to choose my spouse, and nullify every attraction created by magic that did not come with my own consent.
Recite: 7 times

O Allah, do not give any magician's magic any power over my marriage decision. Join me with someone in whom there is good for my religion and my worldly life, with Your pleasure.
Recite: 11 times

O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times (Bukhari 5743)

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Daily schedule

MorningAfter Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes
EveningAfter Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes
NightBefore sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water
WeeklyOne ruqyah bath a week

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, You know what is going on in my heart — sometimes my own feelings seem strange to me, as if I am not the one making the decision. If this pull I feel toward someone, or anyone's pressure, comes from magic or any evil intention, wipe it out completely and return my conscience and my willpower to me. May my marriage be only with Your pleasure and for my true good, not under anyone's pressure or the effect of magic.

Where to massage the recited-over oil

Focus for Magic for Marriage to a Specific Person: Forehead, chest (the place of the heart) and both palms
