Introduction — who this protocol is for
Magic buried in the ground and grave-related magic refers to sihr (magic) that is suspected to have been buried underground, around the house, or in a place connected with a graveyard. This kind of magic is often linked with a long-lasting physical heaviness or unexplained restlessness. However, not every unexplained illness is caused by magic — do not apply this protocol out of mere suspicion without clear signs. If the signs are present, continue the recitation steadily with full attention and ikhlas.
Signs for which this protocol may help
- Suspecting that something has been buried in the yard of your house or in your land
- Feeling unusual heaviness, trembling or numbness in the legs
- Repeatedly seeing nightmares related to soil or graves
- Unexplained physical and mental restlessness beginning after coming to a particular house or piece of land
- Being unable to find any cause even after receiving treatment for a long time
Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.

Opening duas
Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times
Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times
Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times

Verse for breaking the root foundation of sihr (magic)
Recite once. Recite it as the verse that breaks the influence of magic by rejecting the original source of teaching and learning magic.
وَاتَّبَعُوا مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمٰنَ ۖ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمٰنُ وَلٰكِنَّ الشَّيٰطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هٰرُوتَ وَمٰرُوتَ ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَارِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا لَمَنِ اشْتَرَىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِى الْءَاخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلٰقٍ ۚ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهِۦ أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ۱۰۲
And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Hārūt and Mārūt. But they [i.e., the two angels] do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic]." And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allāh. And they [i.e., people] learn what harms them and does not benefit them. But they [i.e., the Children of Israel] certainly knew that whoever purchased it [i.e., magic] would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.
Recite: 1 time
Intention: To destroy the influence of the sihr (magic) taught through Harut and Marut
Verse for destroying the foundation and knots of magic buried in the ground
Repeat the specially indicated parts separately the stated number of times — these two parts are especially important for breaking the foundation and knots of magic buried underground.
قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللَّهُ بُنْيٰنَهُم مِّنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَىٰهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ۲۶
Those before them had already plotted, but Allāh came at [i.e., uprooted] their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.
Recite: 1 time (one part repeated 33 times)
Intention: To break the foundation/knots of magic buried underground

Surah Az-Zalzala 99:1-8
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ۱ وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ۲ وَقَالَ الْإِنسٰنُ مَا لَهَا ۳ يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ۴ بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا ۵ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمٰلَهُمْ ۶ فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ ۷ وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ ۸
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake And the earth discharges its burdens And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - That Day, it will report its news Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it. That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
Recite: 1 time (one part repeated 33 times)
Intention: For the earth to shake and bring out the magical objects hidden within it
Verses for breaking grave-related magic
Recite each verse the indicated number of times. If you feel trembling or heaviness in the body, or images related to graves or soil come to your mind, do not be afraid — this may be a sign that the influence of the magic is being broken. Do not stop the recitation.
وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُ مَن فِى الْقُبُورِ ۷
And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allāh will resurrect those in the graves.
Recite: 11 times
Intention: Neutralizing magic by recalling Allah's power over whatever is buried in the grave
وَمَا يَسْتَوِى الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوٰتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَا أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّن فِى الْقُبُورِ ۲۲
And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allāh causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.
Recite: 3 times
Intention: Declaring the influence of magic through objects in the grave to be void
وَإِذَا الْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ ۴
And when the [contents of] graves are scattered [i.e., exposed],
Recite: 21 times
Intention: For magic buried in a grave or underground to be uncovered and destroyed

Surah Al-Aadiyaat 100:9
۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى الْقُبُورِ ۹
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
Recite: 21 times
Intention: For what is hidden in the ground to be revealed

Surah At-Takaathur 102:1-8
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ أَلْهَىٰكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ ۱ حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ ۲ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۳ ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۴ كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ ۵ لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ ۶ ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ ۷ ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ ۸
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you Until you visit the graveyards. No! You are going to know. Then, no! You are going to know. No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... You will surely see the Hellfire. Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
Recite: 1 time
Intention: Removing worldly heedlessness and the influence of magic by recalling that one will reach the graveyard
Special duas — Magic Buried in Graves
These duas are arranged specifically for this problem. Recite them after you finish the verses.
اللَّهُمَّ احْرِقْ كُلَّ سِحْرٍ مَدْفُونٍ عَلَى أَرْضِي
O Allah! Burn away all the magic buried in the ground on my land.
Recite: 7 times
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يُبْطَلُ كُلُّ تَسَلُّطٍ عَلَى أَرْضِي
In the name of Allah — all control over my land is hereby nullified.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ فُكَّ كُلَّ عُقْدَةٍ عُقِدَتْ عَلَى أَرْضِي
O Allah! By Your strength and power, undo every knot tied on my land.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ اصْعِقْ كُلَّ عَاشِقٍ مِنَ الْجَانِّ فِي الْجَسَدِ. اللَّهُمَّ اقْتُلْ كُلَّ عَاشِقٍ وَعَاشِقَةٍ وَزَانٍ وَزَانِيَةٍ وَمُتَمَسِّكٍ وَسَاكِنٍ بِالْعَوْرَاتِ.
O Allah, destroy with a thunderbolt every attached jinn within this body. O Allah, kill every attached male and female jinn, the male and female jinn who commit zina, and the jinn who cling to and dwell in the private parts.
Recite: As needed
Recite when you feel a jinn attached to or clinging to the body
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ جَسَدْ هَذَا الْمُصَابِ عَلَيْهِ نَارًا، اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْ لَهُ فِي جَسَدِهِ مَكَانًا وَلَا قَرَارًا، اللَّهُمَّ أَحْرِقْ وَجْهَهُ وَعَوْرَتَهُ.
O Allah, turn the body of this afflicted person into fire for him (the jinn). O Allah, leave him no place or refuge in the body of this afflicted person. O Allah, burn away his face and his private parts.
Recite: As needed
Recite when you feel a jinn attached to or clinging to the body
اللَّهُمَّ أَعْمِهِ وَخُذْ بَصَرَهُ فَلَا يَرَاهُ وَخُذْ سَمْعَهُ فَلَا يَسْمَعُ صَوْتَهُ.
O Allah, blind him and take away his sight so that he does not see him (the patient). And take away his hearing so that he does not hear his voice.
Recite: As needed
Recite when you feel a jinn attached to or clinging to the body
Closing surahs and duas
End every session this way. At the end, blow into water and drink it.

Surah Al-Ikhlaas 112:1-4
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۱ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ۲ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۳ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ۴
Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Recite: 3 times
Intention: Strengthening the heart by declaring tawhid
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۱ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۲ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۳ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِ ۴ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ۵
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from magic, hasad (envy) and the evil of the night
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۱ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۲ إِلٰهِ النَّاسِ ۳ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۴ الَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۵ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ۶
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer - Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind".
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from the waswasa (whispers) of mankind and jinn
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times
The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times
Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline
Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.
Method — step by step
- Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
- Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
- Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
- Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
- Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
- In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
- At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
- Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, whatever magic may be buried against me, underground or anywhere else, render it completely void and destroy it. Keep my home, my land and my body in Your protection.

Supplements and weekly practices
| Recited-over water | Recite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping. |

| Recited-over honey | Blow into pure honey and take one spoonful every morning. It is good to recite verse 69 of Surah An-Nahl and then blow into it. |

| Recited-over olive oil | Recite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping. |

| Black seed (nigella) | Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688) |

| Ruqyah bath | Recite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week. |

| Spraying the home | Put recited-over water in a spray bottle and spray it in the corners of the house, on the doors and windows, and under the bed. |

Ruqyah is a Shariah-based method of treatment; it is not a substitute for necessary medical treatment.
