Introduction — who this protocol is for
Cancer and any tumor in the body is a serious trial, and it is essential to continue treatment following your doctor's guidance — ruqyah is in no way a substitute for treatment, but rather a means of asking Allah for healing alongside treatment. Just as Allah is able to crush the mightiest mountains to pieces and to compel the earth to bring out everything within it, in the same way He is able to destroy and eliminate any tumor in the body. With this belief, continue the protocol consistently.
Signs for which this protocol may help
- Cancer or a tumor has been detected somewhere in your body, and you want to do ruqyah alongside treatment
- You are seeking spiritual support during surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- You feel an abnormal lump or swelling in your body and want to begin ruqyah alongside medical tests
- You want to make dua and do ruqyah for a family member's cancer or tumor
Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.

Opening duas
Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times
Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times
Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times
(Muslim 2708)
Verse (ayah) for crushing the tumor to pieces like a mountain
Place your hand on the site of the tumor (if it is inside the body, on the part of the outside directly over it) and keep moving it slowly in an anticlockwise direction. Recite aloud, and do not stop even if you feel discomfort.
وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ الْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ بَارِزَةً وَحَشَرْنٰهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا ۴۷
And [warn of] the Day when We will remove the mountains and you will see the earth exposed, and We will gather them and not leave behind from them anyone.
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the mountains being set in motion and crushed — with the intention that the tumor too be removed in the same way
تَكَادُ السَّمٰوٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا ۹۰
The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the heavens, the earth and the mountains being shaken — with the intention that the hardness of the tumor be broken

Surah Taa-Haa 20:105-107
وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّى نَسْفًا ۱۰۵ فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعًا صَفْصَفًا ۱۰۶ لَّا تَرَىٰ فِيهَا عِوَجًا وَلَا أَمْتًا ۱۰۷
And they ask you about the mountains, so say, "My Lord will blow them away with a blast. And He will leave it [i.e., the earth] a level plain; You will not see therein a depression or an elevation."
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the mountains being ground to dust and turned into a level plain — with the intention that the tumor be wiped out from its roots
وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِىَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ ۚ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِى أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ ۸۸
And you see the mountains, thinking them motionless, while they will pass as the passing of clouds. [It is] the work of Allāh, who perfected all things. Indeed, He is Aware of that which you do.
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the mountains that seem firm passing away like clouds — with the intention that even a hard tumor be gone
وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا ۲۰
And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage.
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the mountains being set in motion and becoming a mirage
وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ ۳
And when the mountains are removed
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the mountains being set in motion — with the intention that the tumor be displaced and eliminated
The verse about uprooting the tumor and separating it from the body
In the same way, keep your hand in place, move it anticlockwise, and recite repeatedly (at least 7 times).

Surah Al-Inshiqaaq 84:3-4
وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ۳ وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ۴
And when the earth has been extended And has cast out that within it and relinquished [it].
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The verse about the earth bringing out everything within it and becoming empty — with the intention that the tumor come out of the body
وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ ۱۱
And when the sky is stripped away
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The verse about the sky being stripped of its covering — with the intention that every covering over the tumor be removed

Surah Al-Mursalaat 77:8
فَإِذَا النُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ۸
So when the stars are obliterated
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The verse about the stars losing their light — with the intention that the tumor's strength be extinguished
وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِيثَةٍ اجْتُثَّتْ مِن فَوْقِ الْأَرْضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارٍ ۲۶
And the example of a bad word is like a bad tree, uprooted from the surface of the earth, not having any stability.
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The verse about the evil tree being uprooted — with the intention that the tumor too be uprooted with its roots

Surah Al-Waaqia 56:4-6
إِذَا رُجَّتِ الْأَرْضُ رَجًّا ۴ وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا ۵ فَكَانَتْ هَبَاءً مُّنبَثًّا ۶
When the earth is shaken with convulsion And the mountains are broken down, crumbling And become dust dispersing,
Recite: 7 times
Intention: The verse about the earth shaking violently and the mountains turning to dust
Verse about the punishment of magicians and jinn
Recite 3 or 7 times.
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ يُجٰدِلُونَ فِى ءَايٰتِ اللَّهِ أَنَّىٰ يُصْرَفُونَ ۶۹ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِالْكِتٰبِ وَبِمَا أَرْسَلْنَا بِهِۦ رُسُلَنَا ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ ۷۰ إِذِ الْأَغْلٰلُ فِى أَعْنٰقِهِمْ وَالسَّلٰسِلُ يُسْحَبُونَ ۷۱ فِى الْحَمِيمِ ثُمَّ فِى النَّارِ يُسْجَرُونَ ۷۲
Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allāh - how are they averted? Those who deny the Book [i.e., the Qur’ān] and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame].
Recite: 3 or 7 times
Intention: The verse about the punishment of those who dispute the verses of Allah and reject the truth — with the intention that any plot of a magician or harmful jinn behind the tumor fail
Special duas — Cancer and Tumors
These duas are arranged specifically for this problem. Recite them after you finish the verses.
اللَّهُمَّ احْرِقْ كُلَّ وَرَمٍ خَبِيثٍ عَلَى جَسَدِي
O Allah! Burn away every deadly tumor in my body.
Recite: 7 times
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يُبْطَلُ كُلُّ تَسَلُّطٍ عَلَى جَسَدِي
In the name of Allah — all control over my body is hereby nullified.
Recite: 7 times
اللَّهُمَّ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ فُكَّ كُلَّ عُقْدَةٍ عُقِدَتْ عَلَى جَسَدِي
O Allah! By Your power and might, untie every knot that has been tied in my body.
Recite: 7 times
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يُسْحَبُ أَيُّ وَرَمٍ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ وَيَخْتَفِي نِهَائِيًّا طَاعَةً لِلَّهِ وَيُعَالَجُ مَوْضِعُهُ
In the name of Allah, may any tumor in this place be pulled out, and by obedience to Allah may it be eliminated forever, and may this place be healed.
Recite: 7 or 21 times
While reciting, place your right hand on the site of the tumor (if it is inside the body, on the part of the outside directly over it) and keep moving it slowly in an anticlockwise direction.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يَتَقَلَّصُ حَجْمُ الْوَرَمِ الْآنَ... يَتَقَلَّصُ وَيُفَتَّتُ بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ
In the name of Allah, let this tumor shrink right now... By Allah's command, let it shrink and be crushed to pieces.
Recite: 7 or 21 times
Recite it moving your hand just as with the first dua.
Closing surahs and duas
End every session this way. At the end, blow into water and drink it.

Surah Al-Ikhlaas 112:1-4
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۱ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ ۲ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ۳ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ۴
Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Recite: 3 times
Intention: Strengthening the heart by declaring tawhid
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ۱ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ۲ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ۳ وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِ ۴ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ۵
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from magic, hasad (envy) and the evil of the night
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ۱ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ۲ إِلٰهِ النَّاسِ ۳ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ۴ الَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ۵ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ۶
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer - Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind".
Recite: 7 times
Intention: Refuge from the waswasa (whispers) of mankind and jinn
أُعِيذُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times
The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times
Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline
Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.
Method — step by step
- Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
- Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
- Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
- Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
- Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
- In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
- At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
- Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)
During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, destroy my cancer, any tumor in any part of the body, physical pain, and all the evil eye, hasad, sihr, jinn, and Shaytan jinn inside and outside the body connected with it, and all their influences.
Where to massage the recited-over oil
Focus for Cancer and Tumors: Massaging the whole body, including the site of the tumor, in an anticlockwise direction
Supplements and weekly practices
| Recited-over water | Recite the ruqyah verses over a bottle of water and blow into it. Drink it 3 times a day: in the morning on an empty stomach, at midday, and at night before sleeping. |

| Recited-over honey | Blow into pure honey and take one spoonful every morning. It is good to recite verse 69 of Surah An-Nahl and then blow into it. |

| Recited-over olive oil | Recite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping. |

| Black seed (nigella) | Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688) |

| Ruqyah bath | Recite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week. |

| Spraying the home | Put recited-over water in a spray bottle and spray it in the corners of the house, on the doors and windows, and under the bed. |

Daily practices (amal)
Alongside ruqyah, it is these practices that give long-term protection.
