Introduction — who this protocol is for

During ruqyah, many people suddenly feel intense heat or a burning sensation in the body — this often indicates that the jinn inside is being hurt by the verses of the Qur'an. In this protocol, verses that especially describe the fire of Hellfire and its punishment are recited one after another, so that, by Allah's permission, the jinn inside feels intense pressure and is forced to leave. This is a strict-level protocol — apply it not out of mere suspicion, but when a clear reaction (burning, anger, intense restlessness) appears during ordinary ruqyah. If the patient shows distress or cries while you recite, do not stop — keep reciting continuously, but if there is excessive panting or difficulty breathing, take a short break and then begin again.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

Promises of the punishment of fire

Recite each verse (ayah) with clear pronunciation. Hold the intention that any jinn inside will feel pain from the meaning of these verses and leave.
1
Surah Al-Baqara 2:266
Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit? But he is afflicted with old age and has weak [i.e., immature] offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned. Thus does Allāh make clear to you [His] verses that you might give thought.
Recite: 1 time Intention: The end of the deniers is illustrated by the example of a garden being burned — warning the jinn that the consequence of disobedience is fire
2
Surah Al-Anfaal 8:50
And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Verses about the disbelievers being struck by the angels and the torment of burning — recite while imagining the same pressure on the jinn
3
Surah Al-Burooj 85:10
Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
Recite: 1 time Intention: The promise of Hellfire and the torment of burning for oppressors who harmed the believers — a response to the jinn's oppression
4
Surah An-Nisaa 4:56
Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses - We will drive them into a fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allāh is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.
Recite: 1 time Intention: A verse about skins being created anew again and again so that the punishment continues — conveying the continuity of the punishment
5
Surah Al-Maaida 5:33
Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allāh and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,
Recite: 1 time Intention: The severe punishment for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and spread corruption — recited against the jinn's wrongful conduct
6
Surah Al-Maaida 5:36-37
Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment. They will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom, and for them is an enduring punishment.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Verses that no ransom can bring release from the punishment and that there is no coming out of the fire — closing off the jinn's escape routes

A detailed description of the torment of Hellfire

The verses in this section present a direct picture of the punishment of Hellfire. Recite slowly, understanding the meaning — this is usually where the most intense reaction is seen.
7
Surah Al-An'aam 6:128-131
And [mention, O Muḥammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term which You appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allāh wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing." And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn. "O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. That is because your Lord would not destroy the cities for wrongdoing while their people were unaware.
Recite: 1 time Intention: A verse about the decree of jinn and humans being together in the fire — reminding the jinn of its own end
8
Surah Al-Anfaal 8:12-14
[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." That is because they opposed Allāh and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allāh and His Messenger - indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty. "That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire.
Recite: 1 time Intention: A verse about strikes on the neck and the tips of the fingers — with the intention of applying symbolic pressure on the jinn
9
Surah Ibrahim 14:15-17
And they requested decision [i.e., victory from Allāh], and disappointed, [therefore], was every obstinate tyrant. Before him is Hell, and he will be given a drink of purulent water. He will gulp it but will hardly [be able to] swallow it. And death will come to him from everywhere, but he is not to die. And before him is a massive punishment.
Recite: 1 time Intention: Verses about drink mixed with pus and constant agony of death — to increase the jinn's discomfort
10

These are two adversaries who have disputed over their Lord. But those who disbelieved will have cut out for them garments of fire. Poured upon their heads will be scalding water By which is melted that within their bellies and [their] skins. And for [striking] them are maces of iron. Every time they want to get out of it [i.e., Hellfire] from anguish, they will be returned to it, and [it will be said], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire!"
Recite: 1 time Intention: A verse about boiling water melting everything inside — with the intention of destroying the jinn's shelter within
12
Surah Ad-Dukhaan 44:43-49
Indeed, the tree of zaqqūm Is food for the sinful. Like murky oil, it boils within bellies Like the boiling of scalding water. [It will be commanded], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of the Hellfire, Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble!
Recite: 1 time Intention: A description of the Zaqqum tree and boiling food like molten copper — the most intense part of the protocol, recite slowly

And of the people is he who disputes about Allāh without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening book [from Him], Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allāh. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said],
Recite: 1 time Intention: The punishment of disgrace and burning for one who argues out of ignorance — applicable to an arrogant jinn

Creating pressure, breaking arrogance and closing off escape routes

In the final section, the jinn is made to understand that there is nowhere to flee and that Allah's decision is final. At the very end, conclude the protocol with the verse of reliance on Allah for yourself.
14
Surah Al-Jaathiya 45:7-8

For them will be punishment in the life of [this] world, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe. And they will not have from Allāh any protector.
Recite: 1 time Intention: The punishment of the Hereafter is even more severe than the punishment of this world — reminding the jinn of its future end
16
Surah Al-A'raaf 7:171
And [mention] when We raised the mountain above them as if it was a dark cloud and they were certain that it would fall upon them, [and Allāh said], "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that you might fear Allāh."

And when We intend to destroy a city, We command its affluent but they defiantly disobey therein; so the word [i.e., deserved decree] comes into effect upon it, and We destroy it with [complete] destruction.
Recite: 1 time Intention: A verse about completely destroying a disobedient town — recite with the intention of destroying the jinn's refuge
18
Surah Al-Kahf 18:90

20
Surah At-Tawba 9:128-129
There has certainly come to you a Messenger from among yourselves. Grievous to him is what you suffer; [he is] concerned over you [i.e., your guidance] and to the believers is kind and merciful.
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times (Bukhari 5743)

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, if any jinn or any harm has taken shelter in my body or my mind, by Your power burn it out and drive it away, remove it forever, and grant me complete peace and well-being.
