Introduction — who this protocol is for

After systematically checking all 6,236 verses of the Qur'an (including root and morphological forms), every direct use of the word "dog" was identified. A direct mention of the dog was found in a total of four verses: the loyal dog of the People of the Cave (Surah Al-Kahf, twice), the panting of the dog in the example of the person who blindly follows his desires (Surah Al-A'raf), and the instruction to mention Allah's name over a trained hunting dog (Surah Al-Ma'idah). Although the same method was used to search for the word "cat", no direct or relevant mention of the cat was found in any verse of the Qur'an. For this reason, no Qur'anic verse reference has been added in this collection for the cat section; only the verified verses about the dog and the raqi's own ruqyah duas have been used. Yet the fundamental principle remains the same: whether cat or dog, a jinn that comes in the form of any animal is entirely subject to Allah's will, and it is possible to repel it in His name and with His words.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

The Example of the Dog: Verses on Desires and Control

Recite aloud and with understanding of the meaning. If discomfort or tears come while reciting a verse, do not stop — keep reciting.
1
Surah Al-A'raaf 7:176
And if We had willed, We could have elevated him thereby, but he adhered [instead] to the earth and followed his own desire. So his example is like that of the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him, he [still] pants. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs. So relate the stories that perhaps they will give thought.
Recite: 7 times Intention: The mention of the dog's panting in the example of blindly following one's desires — with the intention of firmly fixing in the heart this warning: the whispers of the jinn also cling in the same way, whether you chase them or ignore them
2
Surah Al-Maaida 5:4
They ask you, [O Muḥammad], what has been made lawful for them. Say, "Lawful for you are [all] good foods and [game caught by] what you have trained of hunting animals which you train as Allāh has taught you. So eat of what they catch for you, and mention the name of Allāh upon it, and fear Allāh." Indeed, Allāh is swift in account.
Recite: 7 times Intention: The instruction to pronounce Allah's name over a trained hunting dog — recitation with the belief that Allah's name brings the nature of any animal under control

The Dog of the People of the Cave: Verses of Allah's Protection

Recite slowly with understanding of the meaning — fix this belief in your mind: every being under Allah's protection remains entirely under His control.
3
Surah Al-Kahf 18:18
And you would think them awake, while they were asleep. And We turned them to the right and to the left, while their dog stretched his forelegs at the entrance. If you had looked at them, you would have turned from them in flight and been filled by them with terror.
Recite: 7 times Intention: The companion dog of the People of the Cave stayed at the cave entrance under Allah's protection — recitation while remembering the assurance of His protection
4
Surah Al-Kahf 18:22
They [i.e., people] will say there were three, the fourth of them being their dog; and they will say there were five, the sixth of them being their dog - guessing at the unseen; and they will say there were seven, and the eighth of them was their dog. Say, [O Muḥammad], "My Lord is most knowing of their number. None knows them except a few. So do not argue about them except with an obvious argument and do not inquire about them among [the speculators] from anyone."
Recite: 7 times Intention: A repeated mention of the same event — the lesson of relying on Allah's knowledge instead of guessing about what is unknown

Special duas — Jinn in the Form of Cats and Dogs

These duas are arranged specifically for this problem. Recite them after you finish the verses.
O Allah! Burn away every cat-form or dog-form jinn in my body.
Recite: 7 times
In the name of Allah — all control over my body is hereby nullified.
Recite: 7 times
O Allah! With Your strength and power, undo every knot tied in my body.
Recite: 7 times
O Allah, drive every jinn in the form of a cat or dog out of my home and my body.
Recite: 7 times
O Allah, nullify every sound and every harm that comes from a jinn in the form of a cat or dog.
Recite: 7 times
In the name of Allah, may the fear that a jinn in the form of a cat or dog has created in my heart be broken.
Recite: 7 times

Closing surahs and duas

End every session this way. At the end, blow into water and drink it.

Surah Al-Ikhlaas 112:1-4
Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One, Allāh, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
Recite: 3 times Intention: Strengthening the heart by declaring tawhid
2
Surah Al-Falaq 113:1-5
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
Recite: 7 times Intention: Refuge from magic, hasad (envy) and the evil of the night
3
Surah An-Naas 114:1-6
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer - Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind".
Recite: 7 times Intention: Refuge from the waswasa (whispers) of mankind and jinn
I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times (Bukhari 5743)

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Daily schedule

MorningAfter Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes
EveningAfter Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes
NightBefore sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water
WeeklyOne ruqyah bath a week

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, just as You kept the dog of the People of the Cave at the cave entrance in Your protection, so too the complete control over every being that comes in the form of a cat or dog to harm me is in Your hands alone. Do not let my desires be like the dog that runs blindly after its desires; rather, keep me steady in Your remembrance. Remove every jinn in the form of a cat or dog from my home, my body and my dreams, and keep me in Your protection.

Where to massage the recited-over oil

Focus for Jinn in the Form of Cats and Dogs: Along the neck, both shoulders and both palms

Recited-over olive oilRecite the verses over olive oil, blow into it, and massage it into the affected area. It is best done at night before sleeping.
Black seed (nigella)Every morning, take 7 black seeds with recited-over honey. The Prophet ﷺ said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. (Bukhari 5688)
Ruqyah bathRecite the verses over a bucket of water and blow into it. You may also mix in seven crushed jujube leaves. Pour the water over yourself from the head down and bathe, once a week.
