Introduction — who this protocol is for

A collection of the verses in the Qur'an that speak of fire, punishment and consequences. These verses are recited during ruqyah when the presence of a jinn becomes clear. Remember — the One who has the power to punish is Allah; we only recite His words.

Signs for which this protocol may help

Important note: Most of the signs above can also have ordinary physical or psychological causes. So first get the necessary medical tests and treatment. Ruqyah runs alongside medical treatment, not as a replacement for it. Do not conclude with certainty that someone is affected by sihr or jinn just because a sign matches.
Translation of the meanings of the Qur'an: Saheeh International (via quran.com).

Opening duas

Make wudu and sit facing the qiblah. Make the intention: through the Word of Allah, I am asking Allah alone for healing.
I begin in the name of Allah, with whose name nothing in the heavens or on the earth can cause harm; He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
Recite: 3 times Nothing can cause sudden harm to the one who recites this dua in the morning and evening. (Tirmidhi 3388)
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Meaning: Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1, Saheeh International.
Recite: 19 times Before starting the ruqyah, settle your focus and your intention, then recite.
I seek refuge in the perfect Words of Allah from the evil of all that He has created.
Recite: 3 times (Muslim 2708)

The Verses — Part One

The number of recitations given beside each verse is this collection's own arrangement. If you cannot keep to the number, there is no harm — reciting attentively is what matters most.

Surah Al-Faatiha 1:1-7
In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. [All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds - The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. It is You we worship and You we ask for help. Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

Surah Al-Baqara 2:266
Would one of you like to have a garden of palm trees and grapevines underneath which rivers flow in which he has from every fruit? But he is afflicted with old age and has weak [i.e., immature] offspring, and it is hit by a whirlwind containing fire and is burned. Thus does Allāh make clear to you [His] verses that you might give thought.

Surah An-Nisaa 4:56

Surah Al-Maaida 5:33
Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allāh and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

Surah Al-Maaida 5:36-37
Indeed, those who disbelieve - if they should have all that is in the earth and the like of it with it by which to ransom themselves from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment. They will wish to get out of the Fire, but never are they to emerge therefrom, and for them is an enduring punishment.

Surah Al-An'aam 6:128-131
And [mention, O Muḥammad], the Day when He will gather them together [and say], "O company of jinn, you have [misled] many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have [now] reached our term which You appointed for us." He will say, "The Fire is your residence, wherein you will abide eternally, except for what Allāh wills. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing." And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn. "O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. That is because your Lord would not destroy the cities for wrongdoing while their people were unaware.

Surah Al-Anfaal 8:12-14
[Remember] when your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." That is because they opposed Allāh and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allāh and His Messenger - indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty. "That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire.

I entrust you to the protection of the perfect Words of Allah from every Shaytan, every venomous creature and every harmful evil eye.
Recite: 3 times The Prophet ﷺ used to recite this dua over Hasan and Husain (may Allah be pleased with them). (Bukhari 3371)
In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul and of the envier's eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah over you.
Recite: 3 times Jibril (peace be upon him) performed ruqyah over the Prophet ﷺ in this way. (Muslim 2186)
O Allah, Lord of mankind! Remove the hardship and grant healing. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing — a healing that leaves no illness behind.
Recite: 7 times (Bukhari 5743)

📌 Self-ruqyah guideline

Consistency is the key. A little every day, but regularly.

Method — step by step

  1. Make wudu, then sit somewhere quiet facing the qiblah. Keep your phone away.
  2. Make the intention: I am asking Allah for healing through the Words of Allah; the Words have no power of their own — the power belongs to Allah.
  3. Recite the opening duas (Chapter 1).
  4. Then recite the verses (ayahs) in order. While reciting, blow lightly into both palms and pass your hands over the affected area.
  5. Recite each verse as many times as stated in the instruction box below it — there is no need to do more or less.
  6. In between, make dua wholeheartedly in your own language for 15 minutes. If tears come, do not hold them back.
  7. At the end, recite the closing surahs and duas, then blow lightly into the water.
  8. Continue every day for at least 40 days. If you miss some days, do not lose heart — simply start again.

Daily schedule

MorningAfter Fajr — verse recitation, 15 minutes
EveningAfter Maghrib — verse recitation, 15 minutes
NightBefore sleeping — closing surahs and duas, drink recited-over water
WeeklyOne ruqyah bath a week

Your own dua in your own language (15 minutes)

During or after the recitation of the verses, ask Allah in your own language. Below is a sample — you do not have to read exactly this; say it in your own words.
O Allah, help me against the one in my body who is wronging me. You are Strong, You are Almighty. I am weak, and I seek Your refuge. By Your words, drive him out of my body.
